Mr. Steve Blakney teaches 3rd and 4th grades at GCS. He attended Baptist Bible College of PA and also Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Some hobbies include swimming, miniature golf, listening to music, playing the piano, following politics and current events. Mr. Blakney really likes the good student/teacher ratio at GCS and the ability to freely discuss the spiritual aspects of subjects. He enjoys helping the children grow spiritually and academically. Mr. Blakney was nominated (and accepted) three times by former students for “Who’s Who Among America’s Teachers.” His favorite Bible verse is Phillipians 4:13, “I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.”
