Mrs. Vincent

Mrs. Vincent is a pastor’s (Jim) wife and mother of one college student (David).  Her hobbies include knitting, crocheting, gardening and walking.  She is excited about the opportunities for intellectual and spiritual awaiting the staff and students at GCS this fall.  Jr. High youth are wonderful because of their enthusiastic and wide ranging interests.  She enjoys the great staff and the students at GCS as individuals and as a group.  With a B.Mus.Ed. – Idaho State University; an M.A., Elementary Education -  Boise State University; and an M.Div. – Central Baptist Theological Seminary, she is eager to begin teaching again.  She states, “I like the fact that at GCS, growing in personal faith is equal in importance to academic excellence.  Jr. High students are building relationships with other youth and with adults, as well as learning to strive for excellence in all they do.  This fact offers many rich opportunities to learn cooperatively as well as independently.”

With that in mind, Mrs. Vincent holds closely the words of Paul in his letter to the church at Philippi:  “Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable–if anything is excellent or praiseworthy–think about such things. Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me (Paul), or seen in me–put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you.” Philippians 4:8-9.
